Job summary

Boothby Therapy Services, LLC is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist in Rumford, Maine for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position supports K–12 students in a public/special education setting, providing direct and evaluative OT services.

The role requires an active Maine OT license, work with IEP goals, collaboration with educators and related service providers, and accurate documentation. Compensation is $40–$50 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Active Maine OT license required.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelors, Masters, or OTD).
• Experience or interest in pediatrics or school-based therapy.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students.
• Conduct OT evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement IEP goals.
• Deliver direct therapy (individual and small group).
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, PTs, and SLPs.
• Recommend accommodations and assistive technology.
• Maintain documentation and progress notes.
