Boothby Therapy Services LLC invites a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support students in Rumford, Maine. You will help children strengthen fine-motor, visual-motor, sensory-processing, self-regulation, and daily living skills to participate more confidently and independently throughout the school day.

Join a collaborative team guided by an experienced Service Delivery Manager and work with occupational therapists, educators, families, and related-service professionals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Maine OTA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• The ability to connect with students and adapt to their individual learning needs.
• A genuine passion for helping children participate, grow, and thrive.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions based on established plans of care.
• Help students strengthen fine-motor, visual-motor, sensory-processing, self-regulation, and daily living skills.
• Integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines and school activities.
• Adapt activities and interventions to meet each student's individual needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Create encouraging, student-centered sessions that build confidence and independence.
