Your Day at Lowe's

Sales Specialists are active in the store, assisting customers, discussing project needs, and informing them about products, features, and financing options to close sales. You may work in departments like Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, based on needs and skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by understanding needs and communicating product benefits.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, managing project estimates and follow-ups.
  • If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
  • Monitor inventory levels, support sales, and coordinate with vendors.
  • Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
  • Support checkout and assist customers as needed.
  • Train and coach fellow associates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year in customer-facing sales or 6 months at Lowe’s, or equivalent external experience.
  • Experience in sales or customer service with sales goals.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to stand/sit for long periods and lift at least 25 lbs.
  • Obtain necessary sales licenses or registrations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience completing customer sales orders.
  • Experience promoting product services like installation or financing.
  • Design experience with CAD systems.
  • Relevant professional certifications.
  • Bilingual skills.
