Job description

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Lead supports management in fostering a customer- and product-focused sales culture, emphasizing our values and principles in all store operations, including delivering excellent customer experiences and maximizing profitability.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Drive for Results: Establish clear expectations, oversee operational activities, supervise sales associates, maintain standards in merchandise handling and loss prevention, develop a high-performance sales team, and ensure team training and coaching.
  2. Build High Performing Teams: Motivate and inspire the team, promote inclusivity, communicate effectively, seek personal development, and lead positive change.
  3. Customer Experience: Promote MAPS principles, utilize sales techniques, build customer relationships, resolve concerns promptly, ensure efficient register operations, and maintain ongoing client communication.
  4. Talent Development: Support training programs, interpret KPI reports, provide coaching, recognize employee performance, and ensure adherence to employment policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Adaptability to technology and store operations
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking ability
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Constant walking/standing (67-100%)
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33%)
  • Frequent climbing (34-66%)
