We're looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and motivated individuals to join our Great Room Department as a Sales Associate—with a unique opportunity to assist our Visual Merchandiser in creating visually stunning displays.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Sales Associate, you'll be the heart of our showroom—greeting customers, offering expert product advice, and creating welcoming, stylish shopping experiences. You’ll help guests envision how our curated selection of furnishings and home accents can bring their spaces to life.

In addition to sales responsibilities, you'll also support our Visual Merchandiser to help maintain compelling, trend-forward displays that reflect the Heritage Farm & Garden brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and engage with customers, building strong rapport
• Assist guests with product selection, offering tailored solutions and styling ideas
• Stay informed about new products, promotions, warranties, and services
• Cross-sell and upsell to enhance the customer’s experience and satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and visually inspiring sales floor
• Support the Visual Merchandiser in setting up displays, rearranging product vignettes, and contributing design ideas
• Monitor inventory and assist in restocking and floor resets
• Provide thoughtful, detailed feedback from customer interactions to the General Manager
• Flexibly assist across departments during busy seasons or team needs

• A true people person – approachable, positive, and confident
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
• Design-savvy or eager to learn, especially in home aesthetics and visual styling
• Strong team player who can also thrive independently
• Comfortable being on your feet and physically active throughout the day
• Able to multitask with ease, especially during busy sales periods
• Basic computer skills and professional phone etiquette

Bonus Skills:

• Previous experience in retail sales or home furnishings
• Interest or experience in visual merchandising or interior design
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Creativity, adaptability, and initiative
