Job Overview

As a Sales Associate in the Paint department, you will provide excellent customer service, assist customers in finding the right products, and support their home improvement needs. Your role involves engaging with customers, organizing merchandise, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and answer their questions with professionalism and friendliness.
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
• Replenish stock by organizing shelves and supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately and efficiently.
• Support other store departments as needed to deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare and customize paint, cut and handle other department-specific tasks.
• Guide customers through shopping and checkout processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying data).
• 6 months of experience with retail technology (smartphones, tablets).
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to stand, sit, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of retail or customer service experience.
• Bilingual skills.
• Trade certifications related to hardware, plumbing, electrical, etc.
