Job summary

Ashland University Bookstore is seeking a reliable team member to support daily dining operations on campus. Duties include covering days off, vegetable prep, salad composition, assembling catering trays and salads, and stocking the salad bar.

The role is on site, requires following health guidelines, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and anticipated start date 09/07/2026. Experience in high-volume production is preferred, and applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

• High-volume production environment experience.
• Performs duties efficiently and positively.
• Adheres to state health guidelines and dress codes.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Required Qualifications

• HIgh volume production facility.
• Performs the duties in an efficient and positive manner, meeting the objectives of Ashland University.
• Follows state health department guidelines and dress codes.
• Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Ashland University will not sponsor or take over sponsorship for an employment visa.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent knife skills with high production.
• Serv Safe certified.

Physical Demands

• Standing long periods.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Temperature changes from cooler to the kitchen.
