Job summary

The Fish Guys, Inc. in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Delivery Driver (No CDL Required) to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers. You will operate delivery routes, verify orders, and maintain vehicle logs while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Delivery driving experience or route-sales experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages.
• Proficient in speaking and understanding English.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to assigned locations following designated routes.
• Verify delivery orders and match items to customer requests for accuracy.
• Load and unload heavy packages using proper lifting techniques.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company policies at all times.
• Use electronic log systems to record driving hours, delivery status, and vehicle inspections.
• Interpret road maps and GPS navigation tools to plan routes for timely deliveries.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and customers to provide updates and resolve issues.
