Performance Food Group is seeking a delivery driver in Des Moines, IA. You will drive tractor or straight trucks, deliver food products to customers, and maintain DOT compliance while providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CDL A license and meet state licensing requirements.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Valid DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.
• Internal PFG candidates may pursue CDL permit and DOT health card.
• Ability to lift and move freight up to 90 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co‑workers.
• Performs pre/post trip safety inspections per DOT regulations.
• Drives to deliver orders on schedule and verifies delivery with customers.
• Loads/unloads, secures freight and completes required paperwork.
• Ensures trailer is loaded correctly and notes any issues for supervisor.
