High Hotels Ltd. is seeking a Room Attendant for the Home2 Suites location in York, PA. The role involves cleaning guest rooms and common areas to brand standards, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on weekdays and 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM on weekends.

Starting rate is $17.33 per hour, with possible increases based on experience. Must be able to work weekends/holidays and lift up to 20 lbs; benefits include medical, 401(k), vacation, and employee discounts.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and common areas to brand standards within the allotted time.
• Vacuum carpet and furniture; dust surfaces.
• Clean kitchenettes and wash dishes in suites.
• Change bed linens; clean bathrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of high-touch areas of the hotel.
• Assist in the laundry area with washing, drying, folding and sorting.

As a Room Attendant for High Hotels LTD., you will be responsible for performing routine duties to ensure the high standards of cleanliness and service for the hotel and the brand are met. Room Attendants should take pride in providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the hotel guest rooms and common areas are properly cleaned and maintained. Room Attendant team members could spend their days in various areas of the housekeeping department including laundry, common area cleaning and room cleaning.

This position will be primarily located at the Home2 Suites on Pauline Drive in York, PA.

This position is Full-Time (5 days per week) with the following hours : 8:00AM-4:30PM on weekdays & 8:00AM-5:30PM on weekends.

Must have availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

• Please Note: shift end times will vary based on occupancy rate and workload.

Weekends include a $1/hr. shift premium!

Starting Rate: $17.33 *Potential to increase based upon experience

Areas Of Responsibility For Our Room Attendants Include

• Cleaning the guest rooms and common areas according to brand standards in the allotted amount of time.
• Vacuuming carpet and furniture.
• Cleaning and dusting furniture.
• Cleaning kitchenettes and washing the dishes in suites.
• Changing bed linens.
• Cleaning the guest room bathroom.
• Cleaning high touch areas of the hotel to meet brand standards.
• Assisting in the laundry room: washing, drying, folding and sorting laundry.
• Maintaining the linen cart and ensuring supplies are neatly organized.
• Ensuring security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.

Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:

• A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred.
• The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs.
• The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
• The ability to support our sister property - the Hampton Inn & Suites.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
