Job summary

High Hotels LTD. is seeking a Room Attendant at our Mechanicsburg, PA property to uphold the brand’s high cleanliness and guest service standards. You will work in the TownePlace Suites location, performing routine housekeeping tasks across guest rooms and public areas.

This full-time role runs 8:00AM-4:00PM weekdays and 9:00AM-5:00PM weekends, with weekends required. A starting wage of $17.33 per hour plus a $1/hr weekend premium at times, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs.
• Work in both a team environment and independently.
• Support any property owned by High Hotels, Ltd. in the Mechanicsburg, PA area.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and common areas according to brand standards.
• Vacuum carpet and furniture.
• Clean and dust furniture.
• Clean kitchenettes and wash dishes in suites.
• Change bed linens.
• Clean the guest room bathroom.
• Clean high touch areas to meet brand standards.
• Assist in the laundry room: washing, drying, folding and sorting laundry.
• Maintain the linen cart and keep supplies organized.
• Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.

As a Room Attendant for High Hotels LTD., you will be responsible for performing routine duties to ensure the high standards of cleanliness and service for the hotel and the brand are met. Room Attendants should take pride in providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the hotel guest rooms and common areas are properly cleaned and maintained. Room Attendant team members could spend their days in various areas of the housekeeping department including laundry, common area cleaning and room cleaning.

This position could be located at the TownePlace Suites in Mechanicsburg, PA.

This position is Full-time working 8:00AM-4:00PM on weekdays & 9:00AM-5:00PM Saturday/Sunday. Weekends are required

***Please Note: shift end times will vary based on occupancy rate and workload.

Weekends include a $1/hr. shift premium!

Starting Rate: $17.33hr. Potential for increase is based on experience.

Areas of Responsibility

• Cleaning the guest rooms and common areas according to brand standards in the allotted amount of time.
• Vacuuming carpet and furniture.
• Cleaning and dusting furniture.
• Cleaning kitchenettes and washing the dishes in suites.
• Changing bed linens.
• Cleaning the guest room bathroom.
• Cleaning high touch areas of the hotel to meet brand COVID-19 cleaning standards.
• Assisting in the laundry room: washing, drying, folding and sorting laundry.
• Maintaining the linen cart and ensuring supplies are neatly organized.
• Ensuring security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred.
• The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs.
• The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
• The ability to support any property owned by High Hotels, Ltd. in the Mechanicsburg, PA area.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
