Job summary

High Hotels Ltd. in York, PA seeks a Room Attendant to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and common areas.

You will work in the Hampton Inn & Suites on South Queen St., with shifts 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on weekdays and 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM on weekends. The role is full-time, with weekends and holidays required, and a starting rate of $17.33 per hour, plus a $1 per hour premium on weekends.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED preferred.
• The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs.
• The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
• The ability to support our sister property - the Hampton Inn & Suites.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and common areas to brand standards in the allotted time.
• Vacuum carpet and furniture.
• Clean and dust furniture.
• Clean kitchenettes and wash dishes in suites.
• Change bed linens.
• Clean the guest room bathroom.
• Clean high touch areas of the hotel to meet brand standards.
• Assist in the laundry room: washing, drying, folding and sorting laundry.
• Maintain the linen cart and ensure supplies are neatly organized.
• Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.

Description

As a Room Attendant for High Hotels LTD., you will be responsible for performing routine duties to ensure the high standards of cleanliness and service for the hotel and the brand are met. Room Attendants should take pride in providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the hotel guest rooms and common areas are properly cleaned and maintained. Room Attendant team members could spend their days in various areas of the housekeeping department including laundry, common area cleaning and room cleaning.

This position will be primarily located at the Hampton Inn & Suites on South Queen St.inYork, PA.

This position is Full-Time (5 days per week) with the following hours: 8:00AM-4:30PM on weekdays & 8:00AM-5:30PM on weekends.

Must have availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

***Please Note: shift end times will vary based on occupancy rate and workload.

Weekends include a $1/hr. shift premium!

Starting Rate: $17.33 *Potential to increase based upon experience
