Job summary

Marquis Health Consulting Services partners with Rittenhouse Post Acute to recruit a Unit Manager for a full-time, on-site role in Philadelphia. The Unit Manager will oversee nursing operations on an assigned unit, ensuring safe, resident-centered care and strong clinical leadership for staff.

The ideal candidate holds an active PA RN license with BLS CPR, a nursing degree preferred, and at least five years of nursing experience including two years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Pennsylvania.
• BLS CPR certification is required.
• Five years of nursing experience minimum; two years in a supervisory role recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with follow-up to the Administrator and Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and procedures based on clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor care plans, regulatory compliance, and quality standards to optimize resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.
