Job summary

Rittenhouse Post Acute is seeking a Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit and ensure residents receive comprehensive, person‑centered care. The role centers on clinical leadership, safety, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support continuous improvement.

This full‑time position offers $79,000 to $110,000 annually (all‑inclusive) with daily pay. Requirements: PA RN license, active BLS, a nursing degree (preferred), five+ years nursing experience and two years

Qualifications

• Must hold a current PA RN license with an active certification.
• Valid BLS (CPR) certification required.
• Preferred nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience; minimum two years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to support physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure incident reporting is timely and communicated to leadership.
• Participate in facility committees and implement policies as needed.
• Provide clinical leadership and guidance to unit staff.
• Monitor care plans for regulatory compliance and outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident care.

Responsibilities for Unit Manager:

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.

• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.

• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.

• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.

• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.

• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.

• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications for Unit Manager:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required.

• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting required.
