Job summary

Graduate Post Acute in the United States is seeking an RN Unit Manager for a full-time role with a salary range of $79k–$125k. The Unit Manager will oversee nursing operations on an assigned unit, ensuring safe, person-centered care and compliance with standards.

The position emphasizes clinical leadership and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Qualified candidates hold a Pennsylvania RN license, BLS/CPR, and 5+ years of nursing experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting required.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.
