Job summary

Northfield Surgical Center of West Orange is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for Pre-Op, PACU and Procedure Room coverage, Monday through Friday. You will collaborate with physicians and the clinical staff to deliver safe, efficient care in an outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate holds a NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS, and has acute care nursing experience; GI experience and bilingual skills (Spanish or Russian) are a plus. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN license in NJ.
BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
Proficiency in acute care nursing.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
GI experience is preferred.
Spanish or Russian-speaking candidates are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to pre- and post-operative patients in an outpatient setting.
Monitor and assess patients in the recovery phase, ensuring safety and comfort.
Assist during endoscopic procedures as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
Uphold all safety, regulatory, and compliance standards.
