Goodwill North Central Texas is seeking a Store Associate for Store #29 in Hurst, TX. You will manage the POS system, credit card terminal, and cash, while delivering friendly customer service and helping customers locate merchandise.

The role requires basic math, clear communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment. It involves stocking, cleaning, and ensuring the store looks inviting seven days a week.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or team.
• Must be proficient in basic math, able to read and write; operate computerized equipment (POS, credit card draft terminal, pricing system); meet quotas; make pricing decisions based on quality of product.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.
• Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements, pass background, drug screen and physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Manage POS and credit card terminal transactions and cash accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service, greet customers promptly.
• Assist customers on sales floor, help locate merchandise and restock depleted items.
• Maintain overall store appearance and cleanliness; handle hangers and racks.
