Job summary

Goodwill North Central Texas is seeking a Retail Sales Associate in Fort Worth, TX. You will manage the POS system, process payments, greet customers, assist on the sales floor, and help restock merchandise while maintaining a clean store appearance.

Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required; basic math skills, reading/writing ability, and open availability (7 days a week, 8 AM–7 PM) essential. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or team is required.
• One year of customer service experience dealing with the public is preferred
• Must be proficient in basic math, able to read and write; operate computerized equipment (POS, credit card draft terminal, pricing system)

Responsibilities

• Manage POS system, credit card terminal, and cash accurately.
• Greet customers within seconds of arrival and provide friendly, courteous service.
• Assist customers on the sales floor to locate merchandise and answer questions.
• Maintain the appearance of the sales floor and restock depleted merchandise.
• Perform cleaning and tidying duties as needed.
