Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate to join our nationwide pawn store team.

The role offers an hourly wage of $16.50 to $19.50 with commission paid on transactions, and opportunities to earn additional income through performance-based bonuses. Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual applicants encouraged.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers to develop a rapport to better provide and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains the display of merchandise.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards
• Effectively communicates to customers the legal aspects of the pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully completes the assigned training.
• Other related duties, as assigned.
