Job summary

Gillman Home Center is seeking a part-time cashier/customer service associate to provide excellent customer service and support across departments. The role requires open availability for days, evenings, and weekends, with about 15–20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a positive, approachable manner and resolve concerns.
• Process customer orders, invoices, and returns according to store policies.
• Provide general customer service tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and assisting with rental transactions as needed.
• Open and close the store as assigned and ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate customer needs to appropriate departments and provide accurate information on order status.
