Job summary

ALDI is hiring a Store Associate to support merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning to keep the store in peak condition. You will work with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a smooth shopping experience for all guests.

The role is full-time, averaging 30+ hours weekly, with starting pay of $18.50 per hour and scheduled wage increases through Year 5. Benefits are offered to eligible full-time staff and come with ALDI’s commitment to equal opportunity

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to scan and process purchases and informs management of scanning concerns or errors.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes as required to ensure an efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Complete curbside pickup orders by retrieving items, verifying content, and delivering to customers’ vehicles from the staging area.
• Maintains zone standards and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assists management in achieving operational efficiency and loss goals.
• Complies with all company policies and processes.
• Supports a safe working environment by identifying hazards and ensuring equipment is maintained.
