Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a store associate in Ohio. The role covers merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning to uphold store standards and deliver excellent customer service.

The position is full-time with 30+ hours per week and starts at $19.50 per hour, with scheduled wage increases over time. Responsibilities include operating the POS system, stocking shelves, managing curbside orders, and assisting management to achieve efficiency and loss targets.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks and handheld devices.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Model and fulfill all customer service principles and escalate concerns to store management as necessary.
• Utilize the POS system to scan and process customer purchases accurately.
• Stock shelves and displays following merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Complete curbside pickup orders and ensure timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Maintain zone standards and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assist store management in achieving operational efficiency and loss goals.
• Maintain a safe working environment by identifying and rectifying hazards.
