Job summary

ALDI USA store associates keep the store stocked and merchandised while delivering friendly, efficient service. You’ll cashier, stock shelves, and assist customers, collaborating with the ALDI team to maintain a clean and organized shopping environment.

This full-time role in Ohio offers a starting wage of $20.00 per hour with scheduled increases over the next few years, plus competitive benefits and opportunities for career growth within ALDI.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to meet availability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to scan and process customer purchases.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Supports store management in achieving operational efficiency goals.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to company standards.
