Job summary

ALDI USA in Minnesota is seeking a Store Associate to help merchandise, stock, cashier, and keep the store clean. Average 30+ hours weekly with starting wage of $20.00 per hour and gradual increases through Year 5.

You’ll join a collaborative team, handle curbside orders, operate POS systems, and follow store policies to ensure a smooth customer experience while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Able to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Strong arithmetic ability for basic transactions.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills customer service principles and escalates concerns to management as necessary.
• Informs management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Uses POS system to scan and process purchases accurately and reports scanning concerns.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows line policy and opens additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly per merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and ensures timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Supports management in achieving operational efficiency and loss reduction goals.
• Complies with company policies and processes.
• Supports safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment.
