Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Store Associate in Connecticut (full-time) to merchandize and stock product, cashier, and keep the store clean. You’ll deliver exceptional customer service and collaborate with the ALDI team to create a pleasant shopping environment.

The role offers starting wages of $20/hour with scheduled increases in subsequent years; average 30+ hours per week and benefits for full-time staff. Prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Properly use the POS system to scan and process purchases and report issues.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Open additional checkout lanes to improve efficiency.
• Assist management in achieving operational efficiency and loss goals.
• Maintain a safe working environment and report hazards.
• Perform general cleaning to company standards.
