Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a dedicated store associate to support merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning to maintain a welcoming shopping environment. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and accurate POS transactions.

The role is full-time with starting wage $19.50/hour and 30+ hours weekly; wage progression occurs with Year 2–Year 5 increases. Full-time benefits include healthcare, vacation, and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to scan and process customer purchases and informs management of scanning concerns.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms.
