Job summary

WALID J DEHNI DMD PC in Back Bay, Boston, MA, is seeking an experienced Restorative Dental Assistant to join our modern, patient-focused practice.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of restorative dentistry experience, MA-certified dental assistant credential, and proficiency with digital radiography and dental software. You will assist in a range of restorative procedures while maintaining safety, efficiency, and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental assistant, focused on restorative dentistry
• Proficiency with digital radiography and dental software
• Strong knowledge of restorative procedures and materials
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organization

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during restorative procedures, including fillings, crowns, bridges, and implants
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take digital X-rays and impressions
• Fabricate temporary crowns and assist with lab cases
• Ensure proper infection control and compliance with OSHA standards
• Provide chairside support and anticipate the dentist’s needs
• Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
