High Associates, a leading property manager within the High Companies family, seeks a Leasing & Marketing Representative in Charleston, SC. You will welcome visitors, handle apartment tours, prepare leases, and process move‑ins and renewals to drive occupancy.

The role is full‑time, 8:30am–5:30pm, with optional Saturday hours. Starting rate is $21/hr, with potential increases based on experience and commissions for high performers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Six months+ experience in multifamily communities preferred.
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MRI skills preferred.
• Exceptional communication and strong interpersonal abilities required.
• Ability to multitask and stay highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and welcome visitors to the property.
• Maintain property social media pages and website.
• Gather information about the property, surrounding community and competition.
• Respond promptly to phone calls and emails from guests; daily knock checks.
• Show vacant or model apartments and discuss features and benefits to meet guest needs.
• Follow up with potential residents and maintain contact.
• Inspect vacant/model apartments and amenity spaces daily.
• Coordinate leasing signage and marketing outreach events as needed.
• Promote resident retention programs and participate in resident events.
• Provide administrative support to the property manager and leasing team.

The Leasing & Marketing Representative will be the face of the Founders Yard property in Charleston, SC. The Leasing & Marketing Rep is responsible for welcoming all visitors to the property as well as performing activities related to apartment rentals, move‑in, and lease renewals in this role you will interact directly with perspective and current residence to achieve maximum occupancy. You will also generate and manage traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying for prospects, preparing lease, documentation and completing move‑in paperwork and procedures highly detail oriented and outgoing candidates will thrive in this position.

This is a Full‑time position working 8:30am- 5:30pm Monday - Friday with flexibility to work Saturdays from 10:00 am- 4:00pm.

Starting Rate: $21/hr. Potential for increase is based on experience. Eligible for commissions.

Responsibilities Of Our Reps

• Greeting all guests at the property making them feel welcome and addressing their needs
• Maintaining the property social media pages and website
• Gathering information about the property surrounding community and competition
• Promptly responding to phone calls and emails from guest, checking knock daily and replying promptly
• Leading guest through vacant and or model apartments discussing the features and benefits of the community and how we’re able to meet the needs of the guest
• Continual follow up with each potential resident
• Inspecting vacant and models daily as well as amenity spaces.
• Scheduling and coordinating leasing signage
• Having an active role in marketing outreach, including shopping competitive properties, preparing marketing outreach, grid and attending outside marketing events as necessary
• Actively promoting resident retention programs including events, attending events and socializing at resident events
• Performing various administrative duties to support the property manager and leasing team

Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license required
• A minimum of six (6) months experience with the multifamily community preferred
• Software skills and knowledge preferred MS office Word, Excel PowerPoint and MRI preferred
• Exceptional communication skills, strong interpersonal relationship abilities required
• Ability to multitask and remain highly organized are a must
