Job summary

Lakeside Manor in Reno is hiring full-time servers to provide warm, attentive dining experiences for residents and guests. You will welcome guests, take orders, serve meals and beverages, and help maintain a clean, inviting dining room throughout each shift.

We value a friendly attitude, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team. Training is available for the right candidate, and prior hospitality experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to delivering a great resident experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Previous serving or hospitality experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive and memorable dining experience for every resident and guest.
• Welcome residents with warmth, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
• Respond promptly and courteously to requests, ensuring residents feel valued and well cared for.
• Prepare and maintain assigned dining sections to ensure they are clean, organized, and ready for service throughout your shift.
• Accurately answer questions about menu items, beverages, and daily specials.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Pre-bus, clear, clean, and reset tables to keep the dining room inviting and service running smoothly.
• Support fellow team members during busy meal periods to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain a professional appearance and a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
