Job summary

Dallas Retirement Village in Dallas, OR seeks a friendly Dining Services teammate to provide meal service with hospitality and attention to dietary needs. You will follow portion controls, assist with basic food prep, and keep dining areas clean while working with kitchen staff to ensure a pleasant resident dining experience.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand diet cards, special diet menus, and other food service procedures.
• Must be able to deal tactfully with staff, residents and visitors.
• Must follow written instructions and maintain sanitation and safety of work areas.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing on time.
• Follow portion control procedures and diet instructions.
• Perform basic food preparation under supervision.
• Communicate with residents about meal preferences.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist in setting and clearing dining tables and cleaning areas.
• Obtain supplies and assist with inventories.
• Follow safety and infection-control procedures at all times.
