Job summary

OPC Arbre Farms in Michigan seeks a Repack Associate to perform repack tasks and ensure efficiency. You will support the daily repack schedule, set up lines for startup and changeover, and help maintain GMP and food safety compliance.

Responsibilities include assisting line leaders, inspecting product quality, maintaining housekeeping, and coordinating with operators to minimize waste and downtime. Must be capable of standing for long shifts in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge and experience in repack operations.
• Above average skills in teamwork; attention to detail; attendance.
• Excellent skills in communication.
• Demonstrated ability to assist co-workers with job understanding; recognize packaging needs based on schedule; suggest improvements to processes.
• General knowledge of product quality.
• Experience in coaching.

Responsibilities

• Serve the needs of customers and stakeholders.
• Adhere to Food Safety and GMP policies.
• Perform a minimum of 3 positions listed in Repack Associate 1.
• Assist in setting up lines for startup and changeover.
• Observe and support GMP compliance with co-workers.
• Identify visible quality concerns and communicate them.
• Provide support to Operator/Line Leader with communication or equipment.
