Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care across the respiratory care spectrum under physician orders.

You will support critical care teams, consult on therapy effectiveness, and serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff. A full-time position with day shifts is available, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus for qualified RRTs.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Certifications: NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; PALS required in ER.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consults physicians on therapy effectiveness and adjusts treatment as needed.
• Serves as a resource for physicians and nursing staff; assists with equipment and procedures.
