The Grant County Health Department is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to provide nursing services in clinic and community settings. Responsibilities include administering immunizations, performing health screenings and nursing procedures, collecting laboratory specimens, providing health education and referrals, supporting communicable disease prevention and investigation, and maintaining accurate and confidential patient records. The nurse will work with individuals, families, healthcare providers, schools, and community partners to improve access to public health services. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
The successful candidate must be a graduate of an accredited registered nursing program and hold a current, unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in Kansas. The candidate must demonstrate strong clinical, computer, communication, and public relations skills and maintain HIPAA compliance. Public health, clinic, immunization, communicable disease, or community health experience is preferred. Fluency in English and Spanish is also preferred.
