Job summary

TERI Inc. is hiring Full-Time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support children, students, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Oceanside, Carlsbad, and North County.

You will provide direct ABA and behavioral support, implement BIPs, and help clients build communication, social, and independence skills. The role requires an active RBT certification, a high school diploma or GED, and a collaborative, professional approach.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required and in good standing with the BACB.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience providing ABA or related support services preferred; some assignments may require related experience.
• Comfortable providing hands-on behavioral support and responding professionally to challenging behaviors.
• Strong communication, professionalism, reliability, and ability to collaborate within a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA and behavioral support to individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans under supervision.
• Record and maintain data to monitor progress toward goals.
• Help individuals develop communication, social, and independence skills.
• Respond to challenging behaviors using approved strategies and de-escalation.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, educators, families, and professionals as a team.
• Participate in supervision, training, and documentation while adhering to TERI standards.
