Action Behavior Centers in McAllen, TX is hiring a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children ages 18 months to 8 years using play-based ABA therapy. This full-time role follows a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule with optional Saturdays based on patient needs, starting immediately.

You will follow personalized treatment plans, collect session data, help children learn through play, and collaborate with a supportive team. Paid RBT certification and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and assist active therapy sessions.
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire.
• Team-based, flexible coverage across ABC clinics if needed.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children 18 months to 8 years using play-based ABA.
• Follow personalized treatment plans and collect simple session data.
• Assist children learning through play, movement, reading, games, and activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe therapy environment and collaborate with the team.
