Job summary

Envoy Air Inc. is hiring for a ramp agent at DAY. You will load, unload and sort baggage to help ensure on-time departures and become comfortable working outdoors in all weather. This entry-level role offers paid on-the-job training and opportunities to grow within the company.

Starting pay is $16.61 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) match after one year, and travel discounts. Shifts vary and may include overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Valid REAL ID-compliant driver's license or travel authority for business needs.
• 18 years or older.
• Must be able to read, write, fluent speak, and understand English.
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Authorized to work in U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and sort freight, mail and baggage in a safe manner while also achieving on-time departures and arrivals.
• No gym membership required as you lift luggage throughout your shift.
• Ability to cruise on the tarmac in company vehicles while getting bags to their destination.
• Ramp Agent works outdoors in all weather conditions with shifts that may vary and include irregular/extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant, state driver’s license; or otherwise maintain all necessary authority and identification to travel for business needs as required; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role.
• 18 years or older.
• Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
