Job summary

Envoy Air Inc. in Birmingham is seeking an entry-level Ramp Agent to load, unload and sort freight, mail and baggage safely while ensuring on-time departures. You will gain hands-on training and start a travel-friendly role with opportunities for overtime.

The position offers on-the-job training, shift flexibility, and the chance to become part of a growing travel services team. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds.
• REAL ID-compliant travel authorization or authority to travel for business needs as required.
• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and sort freight, mail and baggage in a safe manner and support on-time departures and arrivals.
• No gym membership needed; work involves lifting luggage during shifts.
• Cruise on the tarmac in company vehicles while delivering bags to their destination.
• Work outside in all weather conditions as a Ramp Agent.
• Shifts may vary and include irregular/extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

• Load, unload and sort freight, mail and baggage in a safe manner while also achieving on-time departures and arrivals.
• No need for a gym membership as you will be getting your workout in by lifting luggage throughout your shift.
• Ability to cruise on the tarmac in our company vehicles while getting the bags to their destination.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant, state driver’s license; or otherwise maintain all necessary authority and identification to travel for business needs as required; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role.
• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Authorized to work in U.S. without sponsorship.
