Job summary

Breezy Hills Rehabilitation and Care Center in Lakeland, FL, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver therapy services that help residents improve mobility and independence.

The ideal candidate holds an unrestricted Florida PTA license, has at least one year of experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting, and demonstrates strong communication and documentation

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Florida PTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Minimum one year of experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Deliver therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and other interventions as directed.
• Monitor progress and document treatments, responses, and outcomes per facility policies.
