Job summary

Marietta Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role to help residents restore strength, mobility, and independence. You will provide PT services under a licensed PT, support rehabilitation goals, and document progress.

The ideal candidate holds a Georgia PTA license, completed an accredited PTA program, has about 1 year of skilled nursing or rehab experience, and values patient-centered care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia PTA license.
• Certificate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Passion for patient-centered care and helping others.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist residents in achieving mobility and rehabilitation goals
• Follow and implement individualized care plans with accuracy and empathy
• Foster a positive, motivating environment for residents and families
• Accurately document treatment sessions and progress notes
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic, person-centered care
