Job summary

Orchard View Post Acute is seeking an upbeat, dependable Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehab team full-time. You will carry out treatment plans, help residents improve strength and mobility, and work closely with PT, OT, speech, nursing, and families to help each resident reach their goals.

We offer $35-$40/hour, full-time hours with a consistent caseload, and medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus mentorship for new grads and a supportive rehab team that has your back.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in Idaho, or the ability to get one.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Skilled nursing, rehab, or geriatric experience is a plus; new grads welcome.
• A positive, encouraging attitude and a love of teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Helping residents improve strength, balance, mobility, and independence.
• Teaching residents and families safe transfers, exercises, and use of equipment.
• Tracking progress and letting the PT know about changes in a resident's condition.
• Working closely with OT, speech, nursing, and families to help each resident reach their goals.
• Keeping clear, timely documentation in our electronic health record.
