Job summary

Northeast Rehabilitation & Healthcare in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. Sunday–Thursday schedule preferred.

As a PTA you will screen, evaluate, and deliver rehabilitative treatment under regulatory standards, supporting geriatric patients on the journey to recovery. We offer a stable team, competitive benefits, and career growth opportunities within Ensign Services.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with regular standing, walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehab plan, including exercises, modalities and wound care.
• Provide consultation to patients, families and other providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.
