Job summary

• Active PTA license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out therapy programs developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with gait training, balance activities, strengthening exercises, and transfers.
• Observe resident response during treatment sessions and communicate updates to the PT.
• Encourage participation and support achievement of therapy goals.
• Complete accurate treatment documentation and progress notes.
