Job summary

Hillcrest Health & Living is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in‑house rehabilitation team at Hillcrest Health & Rehab in Bellevue, NE. This is a full‑time position dedicated to aging adults and their recovery.

You will carry out individualized plans of care, apply evidence‑based therapies to improve mobility and function, document accurately, and work closely with the supervising Physical Therapist, nursing staff, and families to achieve meaningful outcomes and

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required.
Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Nebraska or a compact state required.
Basic Life Support CPR certification required or willingness to obtain within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
Use evidence‑based techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and support meaningful recovery goals.
Communicate progress with onsite supervising Physical Therapist and other team members.
Document accurately to support therapy services and billing.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and therapy team for coordinated patient care.
Assist with transition planning and equipment needs as part of care plans.
Delegate appropriate tasks to therapy technicians while adhering to regulations.
