Job summary

Westgate Gardens Care Center in United States is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will provide skilled treatment to residents to improve mobility, balance, strength, safety, and independence in a skilled nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have PTA license in California.
• Associate degree from PTA program required.
• CPR certification required by facility policy.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute rehab preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under supervision per plan of care.
• Perform therapeutic exercises and mobility training.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes.
• Document treatment timely and accurately.
• Coordinate with physicians and rehab team.
• Educate residents and families on home programs.
• Maintain infection-control and safety standards.
