Job summary

Rowlett Health and Rehabilitation Center in Rowlett, TX is seeking a dedicated Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. You’ll work with a stable therapy team delivering skilled, post-acute care to geriatric clients.

As part of Ensign Services affiliation, you’ll provide screenings, develop care plans, administer treatments, and help with discharge summaries, while upholding CAPLICO values and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care, developing care plans adhering to standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments to patients per regulation and clinical practice.
• Regular standing/walking; occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients/equipment.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.
