Job summary

Beacon Harbor Healthcare in Rockwall, TX, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support our outpatient ALF programs in Garland and Rowlett, TX. Join our in-house therapy team and help geriatric patients on their journey to recovery.

The PTA will provide rehabilitative treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, performing manual techniques, ambulation, exercises and modalities, and collaborating to tailor plans to regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• PTA license required.
• New grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based rehabilitation practices under supervisor.
• Provide rehabilitation treatment to patients with functional disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and devices under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments per regulatory and clinical guidelines.
• Offer guidance to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.
