Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering patient-focused care. The role involves executing selected therapy procedures, adjusting treatments per the plan, and documenting patient progress.

You will guide the PTA staff and help manage department workload while maintaining patient safety and dignity. The position requires an Associate's degree, current state licensure or temporary permit if applicable, and Health Care Provider Basic Life

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree and state licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Entry-level acceptable for PTA role.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans.
• Modify procedures within the plan as patient status changes.
• Document patient progress notes and outcomes.
• Provide technical direction to PTA and coordinate workload in the department.
