Job summary

Hayes Gibson in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other property systems to ensure safe, well-kept living spaces for residents. You will respond to work orders, inspect facilities, and help uphold safety standards while providing responsive service and quality workmanship.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM with flexibility and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

Experience in general maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Customer service focus and responsiveness to resident requests.
Prior maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Repair & Maintain: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on property buildings and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and more.
Troubleshoot & Fix: Respond promptly to work orders, diagnose issues, and complete necessary repairs to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Inspect & Report: Conduct regular inspections of the properties to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
