Job summary

Valley Wide Cooperative is hiring a Driver responsible for delivering propane and related fuels to customers in Cascade, ID. The role emphasizes safety, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to SOPs while operating a delivery truck.

Responsibilities include bulk tank installations, routine maintenance of facilities, and strict compliance with company policies and credit rules. Candidates need a valid Class B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Airbrake endorsements and a strong customer-service

Qualifications

CDL Class B with Hazmat, Tanker and Airbrake endorsements.
Clean driving record; experience with fast-paced delivery preferred.
Knowledge of propane installation rules and regulations.
Strong communication skills with customers, vendors and staff.
Ability to make policy-based decisions and prioritize tasks.
Professional, safety-conscious demeanor.

Responsibilities

Deliver propane, bulk oil, gasoline, diesel and heating oil to customers safely and on time.
Set up and install bulk tanks/containers at customer locations.
Maintain bulk plant facilities and order parts as needed.
Conduct safety checks and leak tests on propane systems.
Record daily tickets and paperwork; follow route sheets.
