Job summary

Valley Wide Cooperative in Cascade, Idaho is seeking a dedicated Driver to deliver propane and related products to customers in a safe, timely manner. This full-time position requires accurate daily records and strict adherence to company procedures and safety standards.

You will hold a Class B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker and Airbrake endorsements, perform vehicle inspections, and coordinate with stores to ensure on-time deliveries while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker and Airbrake endorsements required.
• Clean driving record with endorsements and experience preferred in fast-paced deliveries.
• Knowledge of propane installations and safety practices is desirable.
• Strong communication with managers, customers and vendors.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make policy-based decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane, bulk oil, gasoline and heating oil to customers safely.
• Set up and install bulk tanks/containers at customer locations.
• Maintain bulk plant facilities and order supplies as needed.
• Record daily tickets on manifest reports and purchase orders.
• Perform safety checks/leak tests on propane systems and adhere to all safety rules.
• Maintain professional appearance and positive customer relations.
• Adhere to company credit policy and route price sheets.
• Coordinate with store personnel and management to ensure timely deliveries.
